Arrow racing beat vs act HD for N/A

hey all.

i was told by mazdatrix that the racingbeat clutch/pressure plate is an exedy one with a replaced diaphram and ferodo lining in the disk as well as 2 times as many riviets. i am unsure if this plate is organic asbestos, though. also, i am unsure of the clamping pressure with the replaced diaphram as compaired to the 183 of the exedy.

i was also looking at the act hd street strip. i dont know if it has the improved lining, or what type of material its made of as compaired to the rb. also, the clamping pressure is raised to the 280's i beleive and i am unsure if this is going to be too stiff. i had a ACT street strip on my fd and it was super streetable.

thanks for helping me choose which route to go.

what are you doing with the car? if you want the best life, stock disc with an upgraded pressure plate would be best.

And all this level of detail matters because...you are having trouble holding the 125 whp?

Just get a clutch- it's an N/A. Anything above OEM is academic-

lol i should hope i have more than 125, but with NA you never can really tell, lol. i am just curious as to what is going to give the best feel/bang for my dollar, since i have to buy a clutch anyways. but your view is refreshing, ill give you that. i am driving it to the track and revving the **** out of it. keeping the 5/6 ports but sides that its pretty racey.
