Racing Beat, but your sway bars need to match your overall suspension package right? i think the sway bars should be last on the list of suspension goodies... they complement eveyrthing else.

BTW wormiez, did you get my email the other day i sent to you regarding the AUTOEXE mount pricing and tranny mount availiability?

thanks

My suspension setup is pretty much complete, just lacking the sway bars. Price wise suspenion technique are alot cheaper then the racing beat. So I'm unsure which one to choose..

Yes I got your email, I forwarded it to my boss who does pricing. I'll remind him about the email.

Thanks

RB ones are nice, but if I remember correctly the rears are non-adjustable. ST, however, has an adjustable rear - I will totally go for ST just because of that. You can fine-tune your car's handling with an adjustable rear bar.

Correct me if I am wrong though (about the adjustable thing for ST)!

They are adjustable because they have multiple holes on the end (where it meets the end links) this adjust the ammount of pre-load on the bar.

I love my RB's they seem to be the best with my FLT-A2's

If you don't care about cost, you can buy the Racing Beat sway bars, and their end links as well. This permits a level of adjustability. Problem is that they are $63 a pair on top of the cost of the actual sway bars. The RB bars and links together must be a nice match though....

I agree, the guys at Racing Beat are great people (every time I e-mail them Jim M. actually replies not some lacky, and his replies are always detailed and lengthy), they always make a top notch product, I don't mind shelling out a few bucks more to deal with RB and the support they provide.

I would get racing beat just because I have liked dealing with them in the past.
Here are some specs (for 1989-1991, specs and prices are from Mazdatrix).
ST Front- 1.0625 in. Rear- 0.750 in. $291.36 for the set.
RB Front- 1.1250 in. Rear- 0.625 in. $237.00 for the set.
For the S5 neither companies sway bars are adjustable, but you can buy adjustable sway bar links from quite a few places. The adjustable links are about $135 from Mazdatrix.

You can buy the suspension techniques set from www.wholesalehyperformance.com i was quoted $229 because they are pricematching the same produce from another website.

BTW on the S4 front made by Suspension Techniques is adjustable. www.stracing.com

Has any of the above posters actually played with the ST "adjustablility holes"? (when using the stock endlinks).
On the front bar, I had two options: Near-neutral handling, or insane oversteer.

I ended up swapping to the RB bars and I like them a lot more.

Great info here guys, thanks for posting. I'd get RB springs and anti-sways if I had money for that kind of thing right now.

I have the ST bars on my Zenki, and I mimic your experiences.
On the softest setting (both on out), the car would scarily oversteer.
I've since moved them both inboard, and the car is very neutral.
The bar is technically a "3-way adjustable" since there's a middle setting with one side on out and one side on in.
I think stock suspension cars would use the softest setting, but once your suspension gets modded, you need to adjusts them stiffer.

IMO, I would rather take the adjustability over a single setting.

I'm all for supporting rotary vendors, but we don't want to go into how Racing Beat treats it dealers.
