racing beat engine torque brace
its SO worth the 65 bucks. hands down one of the best things ive done to the 7.
engine does NOT torque, idle is improved, smooth throughout the band, everything feels SOLID... throttle response is amazing.
i reccommend it.

Good to hear!
I've just put one on my 87 Tll, but haven't had a chance to really run the car with it on. You're right though....the engine is absolutely rock solid....doesn't torque at all in the engine bay.
Supposed to make shifting a little more precise too.

I've been looking at those braces for a little while now and they sound like a good idea, because my engine does torque a fair bit when revving from idle.
I have been worried about getting that plastic wheel well piece out to install it though. Previous owners didn't take proper washing care, so it's a bit rusty underneath.
How does that piece come off?
