In the 87 TII Im using a MOMO hub and momo removable hub with a Holding Monster (arr matey!) it was about 50 bucks for the hub and 130 for the release.......

the only downfall is it spaces you wheel about 1.5" further from the gauges ( good thing I have long fingers to reach the signals) but Im unfamiliar with the one you talk about...it may not have this downfall - which might explain the price...

its hard to tell from the photo....

but if your talking about one that would slip onto the actual spline of the steering shaft I honestly don't see one being manufactured....everytime you would take it off you'd have to put on the nut - not to mention the wheel would be off center most of the time

its a keyed spline I would hope - otherwise you will still have the alignment problem....

and there would probably still be SOME type of ballbearing latch mechanism....other wise youd be able to pull the wheel off at all times...

Look into a grant, they have one thats designed for anti theft, it might be what you're after, however the hub still adds distance from the cluster...

Ebay Bride knockoff with quick disconnect for $49 shipped and it has lasted for over a year now with no problems.

I really wrench on mine too, I removed my power steering and added a V8 and love being able to disconnect my wheel to get into the car. (Roll bar behind the seat)
