Quick question on this resistor.

I'm going to be using low imp injectors for my secondary and want to know if these resistors will work from switching from high to low.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Resistor-10-Ohms...3%3A1|294%3A50

Let me know if these resistors are the ones you solder into the wire. I don't want to run the 10 ohms 10 watts resistor because it looks puny.

Also on a different note. Which fuel pump sock to I use if using the Fd fuel pump in my fc. I know there's lots of different socks, but i'm not sure if the fuel pump sits all the way flat in the baffles. If it does, i'll just buy a normal square sock.

Thanks in advanced.

It would work, but it's not the best style to wire in-line. I bought my resistors from mouser electronics, since they have anything and everything you can think of. I picked up some 6 ohm resistors from them, since some others had suggested using less than 10 ohms. Supposedly it helps with the injector transition, but it still offers enough protection for the ECU.

And use the FD sock on the fuel pump. It fits just fine.

kgparts and rx7store both have the resistors on their web pages.

Ok, can someone tell me which resistor they bought to run the 680cc fb injectors in a s5 fc. I want to which ones you run, and is good for you. 6ohms 10 watts? or something ??ohms ?? watts for a fb injector into a high imp harness.

Thanks in advanced again.

10 ohm, 10W.

Available at any electronics store and even Radio Shack. Wire them at the ECU, not at the injector. If you want to get fancy, get resistors in finned cases that bolt onto the top of the ECU.

Sweet, Thank you Aaron cake. If it works for you, it'll work for me. I'm going to pick up some resistors meow.

Wait, when you say wire them at the ecu, you mean 1-3inchs from the ecu plug. Or just closer to the ecu in general. I know I solder them in the positive side of the injector.

Cut the wires wherever you want near the ECU. Then splice in the resistors.
