quick question (oil change time)

How much oil would i need, stock 91 turbo ii.

Book says 6.5L when its dry :O

4.5 oil in the pan (which is still alot :O)

Oil i'm buying is coming in 2L cans so if i can get away with 4L i want to know, otherwise its 4.5 L jug of something else hehe

Usually about 5L or so, depending on how well you drain it and the size of the filter.

maybe he got confused with US quarts, which it does list as 6.1quarts on a dry engine. or you can add a little extra if your car pukes oil.

L > USQ > 6.1 > 6.5

I realize that outcome-based learning and recreational drugs have changed thinking among younger folks vs. when I went to school, but I am still not following that logic, lol.

but sometimes i wish i would have had that extra half quart, like when my oil cooler lines busted (although there was no harm done aside from my car telling me it needed an engine bay detail..). lol
