Quick Q, water pump housing

Just a quick Q. The answer will determine whether I just get a little angry, or a middle aged man in San Diego needs to file a PPO against me*.

Are there four studs, or five that hold the pump housing/pump onto the forward end-housing? The FSM's illustration is a little ambiguous.

*Joke, in case it wasn't apparent.

Use a torch.

The studs were okay but I snapped one of the 4 bolts.

That was a fun week.

4 studs,, and on FC,, one long bolt for the alt bracket through into the front plate

the two outer most studs ( on exhaust side ) are supposed to have a very thin ss washer against the plate

this is to shim the pump body flat ,, accounting for the thickness of the paper gasket around the other studs
