Quick oil question....

it's -3 degree's celcius out right now, and yes this is probably very stupid, but is 20W50 oil alright to dyno with at these temperatures?...

the dyno is inside but wont be that much warmer....

i thought that 20w50 was suppose to be for 40 F and below weather?

No, it's thicker, and meant to be used in warm weather. Why not just get some 10w/30? It's not THAT expensive... But I suppose that it would depend on circumstances also...later

i asked 1hour before the dyno, not enough time for an oil change....

all went well though....

Now that I think about it, as long as the oil is warm when you put it in, and start it up recently after, it should be ok. Since the thinner 10w/30 viscosity is only needed at start up, because cooler temps and thicker oil prohibit proper circulation through the engine(when it's needed most, at start up). But seeing as you didn't give us much of a heads up :-D. What #'s did you pull?
