Unflooding.......

well, I read an article that says your supposed to pull the egi comp fuse from under the hood. I did this and it wouldn't turn over at all. wtf?

The article said take the fuse out and hold the peddle to the ground and crank for 15-20 seconds or something like that. Then to put the fuse back in and not touch the accelerator. But the problem is that when I pull that fuse out, the car won't do anything.

WTF is right.

It should crank with the clutch pressed & the tranny in neutral, even with all but the main fuse out.

yea. That is what I thought. maybe I need to run through all the fuses? Because when put turn the key to start it, it just makes a click sound. And with the fuse in, it attempts to turn over, but then smells like gas.

Aha - the click, no crank symptom.

Look for a bad primary cable connection - battery or ground.
Jiggle the rpimary cables.
If you try to crank a few times the bad spot will probably get warm.
