When I am running thorugh 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear my car will hit 6psi peak and then start to drop off a bit as the rpm goes up. 4th gear I will hit 8psi and then start to drop off. is that normal for stock tune or is there something im missing. It still seems to pull hard and goes pretty quick. and has done this since i bought it about a month and a half ago. specs are in the SIG. VV thx

 

Normal. The stock turbo just can't flow enough air to keep the boost up at high RPMs. Raising the boost a little will help, but it will still taper down.

 

external wastegate would that help?

 

no no the turbo is the problem not the wastegate...
wastegate would be if ur getting too much boost

 

No. The stock wastegate is already too small as it is, which in theory would lead to too much boost. The real issue is that the turbo just can't flow enough air.
