Arrow quick emmission,ps,ac removal questions

Hey guys I have my airpump, ps and ac removed. SO i am only running one belt. Im pretty sur ei read that im supposed to get a dual alternator pulley or sumtin. As of right now I can hear the belt slipping and squeaking, especially at higher rpms. What kind of pulley must i get to make sure everything works properly.

BanzaiToyota has some nice kits on his website.

Like $20 for a perfect fit and nicely made pulley .

Actually its the smartest thing said in this thread so far. Without the air pump the 6PI and VDI systems on the S5 engine won't work resulting in a slower car. Reinstalling it would fix both the performance loss and the slipping belt.

I agree, removing the air will make your car slower. also not too sure about NY smog regs, if any

now this pretains to the S5 airpump correct i dont have it on my S4 and it hauls *****...unless it even faster with it on!...the hole where the hose that pumps the air into the exhuast is not blocked off what adverse effects result from that AND my twin scroll acuator is broken...NIPPLE broke my friend picked up another type of acuator from an NA at pick n pull... wanted to know if any of those will work as they look the same i figured its about the signal thats being sent to it makes the difference? (sorry for thread jack)

thanks!

well, i do know the S4"s dont have the VDI, and the air pump actuates the VDI, which if removed from the S5 would kill top end...but i removed the VDI completely and am very pleased....

thanks now if anyone can give me some insight on the twinscoll acuator and the other acuators on N/A's are they the same and is it just the fact that the signal from the plug make it that specific acuator or are they all physically different i feel a dramatic effect with it not hooked up...

If you mean solenoid valve, not actuator, then yes they're all the same. Just make sure you get the orientation right as I explained to you elsewhere.

From a performance perspective, the air pump is only required on S5's NA's.
