Q's on mindtrain headers
Q's on mindtrain headers
I am bidding on Mindtrain headers on Ebay, and im confused with the guys description on them.
"Description
This header is for 1986-1991 Mazd RX-7 non turbos. They are not made anymore as far as i know, and they make more power than Racing Beat headers. This one has been modified slightly, 3.5" have been cut off the pipe that connects to the main catalytic converter because it was used with a Racing Beat pre silencer; Racing Beat pre silencers are 21" long compared to 17.5" long for the stock main catalytic converter so it was cut to fit properly. If you have any other questions about the header please email me. "
Im not sure if they're too short to connect to the stock cat location or if they;re too long. I have a Bonez racepipe, and Im asking if these headers will bolt right up to stock locations.
thanks,
Rory

He said in the description that it was cut 3.5" shorter to accomodate the Racing Beat Pre-Silencer. Therefore it will not bolt up to the stock catalytic converter and will be 3.5" shorter. Bonez makes direct swap parts so I don't think it will work with your setup.
I have a Mindtrain setup on my vert. No presilencer. It is a little loud, but not enough to attract police attention. And, yes they are still made.
