Quick Coolant Line question (Pics)

Where do these 2 coolant lines (I assume they are coolant) go? I think 1 should go into the Throttle Body .. but which one? and where does the other one go?

Thx again

1# pic goes through the BAC
----from the BAC to the Throttle body
2# pics from the thottle body to the rear housing

You should NOT use those hoses. The are not angled properly to fit around and under the intake manifold. Those WILL kink. Get the OEM ones from Mazda.

Sad, but very true. The rear one was put there to punish you for buying a turbo. humor(you'll see what I mean when you TRY to install the throttle body).

Cap off that circuit and remove the thermo-wax warmup hardware from the TB (unless you really really want it.)

Are either of those hoses on a S5 TII engine? I don't recognize either of them from my recent engine assembly. In fact, in the top pic it seems like there is a little electrical connector that goes right where the hose is.

SureShot did you cap off yours? im thinking of doing the same cause my line that runs from the back of the engine to the back of the water pump keeps kinking. so i want to just cap both ends off.

Capping those off won't affect cooling at all, just your cold start warmup with the BAC/thermo doo-dad...

no i already got rid of coolent threw the TB and BAC. I've had a line just from the back of engine to the back of the water pump. but being sandwiched under the intake manifold and the heat i have to replace it every so often it it'll end up busting. my question could you cap it at the back of the engine and at the back of the water pump?

I ended up putting it back together as intended. But I used Transmition Oil cooler hose instead of coolant hose. Its made by goodyear and it will withstand a TON of heat, and last a lifetime. I used a 90deg. on the rear one.
