Quick BOV question.

I just got a greddy type s bov. The stock bov only has one nipple but the greddy one has a larger nipple on top the bov like where the stock on is and there is also a smaller skinnier nipple on the lower part of the bov. what do i do with this nipple? am i supposed to block it off? thanks -alex

Got any pics? Is it the part that actually vents to the air?

i dont think you need to use the smalle diagonal nipple, but the one poking out the took gets ooked up to the vacuum like, it opens tha valve so the pressure can be released. I hope that answerd the questions, and no, you dont need to block it off

That is correct, you hook up the vacuum to the top nipple on the BOV.

yup, i have the top nipple hooked up to the boost line that ran to the stock bov. I was just wondering if i needed to hook up the lower nipple to anything, it doesnt seem to be puling in any air at idle. Im not sure if thats the case when under boost.

Ignore the bottom one, especially if it's open vented.
The bottom fitting is for hooking it up to the same boost / vacuum source and helps keep the BOV from cracking open prematurely.
BUT, it also leaks to the BOV outlet, so if you try and hook it up, it'll cause an intake leak.
You can hook it up only if the BOV is recirculated back into the intake.
