quick bearing question

hey guys, i just wanted to know if you need to lubricate new stat gear and rotor bearings while installing them, im guessing yes and with petroleum Jelly.

let me know if im wrong

You do need to lubricate those parts when installing. Don't use petroleum jelly. The petroleum jelly is only used to hold seals in place for installation. As soon as you start the motor the jelly burns away. Gone. You need to lubricate with oil. I used a mix of motor oil and STP. 50/50 mix.

im not sure that i made it completely clear, sorry

im mean do you lubricate a new set of bearings when intsalling them into the rotors and stat gears on a hydraulic press with the tools from atkins
