I think the Fc gearbox would really suck for anything above 350..... Needs some taller gears

You know if you have everything to safely support 330-350 Rwhp, then you have what it takes with a few extra hundred dollars to do 400-450 even 500.. that is the beauty of it!

My turbo2 before all the upgrades in the works (T04 hybrid, FMIC, streetport, etc..) had a full RB exhaust, TID, etc. It was pretty quick, but nothing Id call real fast. Im sure the 140k miles , low compression and bent turbine fins werent helping though. So is the car with 300rwhp a beast or what? Like if you give someone a ride, are they like "whoa this is pretty quick", or "Holy mother of god slow down!!" ?

Just so you know Im no stranger to fast cars, Im around 500+ HP cars daily. Just have never driven/been in a FC with much power.
300 whp is what I consider quick.
400 is where I place the limit of streetability and usable power.
500+ is when it becomes "slow down".

My car dyno'd 309 to the wheels at 8 PSI and I scared the crap out of any girls that went for a ride in my car. Any one of my friends would grab something(armrest, anything) by the time I could fully get into it.

I could downshift going 80 and break the back end loose, thats something I wasn't ready for but got used to...

I just got the motor rebuilt amd in the process of breaking it in. The guy who built it said that with this set up I could get 400 to the wheels easy....

I can't wait!!!!Just gotta be safe and not drive in the rain...

Well I have RB street port and new 2mm corner seal so the engine is in good condition but I dont think a few extra hundred dollars give me 400rwhp with my turbo. (see my mods) Or does it?
Running 14psi max

PS. a few exrta fuel injectors coming soon..

I'll list my setup, can be done for more or less depending on what kind of deals you can get, or what turbo route you go.

T04 Hybrid Turbo - $550
Greddy FMIC- $1000
Injectors - $300
Rebuild/Streetport- $1400
Full Exhaust - $700 average, unless going custom
Standalone EMS - $1400, including tuning
Clutch- $350
Misc-
(intake, gaskets, etc)- $400

There may be a few things Ive left out, but off the top of my head thats about $6k. You probably dont *need* a standalone, could get away with just a S-AFC , but the standalone is a very good thing to have.

300rwhp FC is fast, but let's not forget that most Turbo II's typically weigh in around 3000 lbs without driver.

My buddy's FC is around ~305rwhp, with porting equivalent to an aggressive FD street port

He has

running .95 bar
3mm Apex Seals
exhaust port equivalent of FD race port
large intake ports
80 - 70- 70mm exhaust system
Haltech E6k
FD fuel pump
1000cc secondaries 550cc primaries
various little tricks here and there
T3/T4 hybrid

life doesnt really start until around 3200rpm after 7psi where the turbo really starts spooling

I think you are overestimting alot. A S5 Turbo2 is a little over 2900, while a S4 T2 is a tick over 2800, and that weight usually goes down alot when modified. Stock S4 turbo2 wheels alone are like 24lbs a piece. PLus most people remove accessories like A/C and power steering, and aftermarket exhaust systems take off a considerable amount of weight also. The goal weight for my Turbo will be 2600lbs without driver.

3000lb without the driver!? Bullshit. With my fat *** in the car, it should weigh less. But i will have it weighed after it runs. hehe.
