question on the MAF sensor

Im finally putting in my intercooler and I got this idea but im not sure if it will work. Is it possible to relocate our MAF in between the turbo and intercooler(hot side) instead of having it on the compressor wheel?

not a good idea to put it pre-intercooler. Some have done it post-intercooler, but why not leave it on the inlet?

I wanted to put it this way because of the way im running my IC pipes...if I leave the sensor where it is (on compressor wheel inlet) I wont have room for the plumbing. So I was just going to put it into the plumbing (if I wont damage anything)..
