Question on adjusting rear toe

Hey all,

I did a search and did not find what I wanted.

Seems that I don't know what I am doing when it comes to rear toe adjusting. aftermarket bushing are in as an FYI but I cannot get the toe on the PS to adjust. If you follow the FC manual you come up with nothing that is helpful. Eventually I loosened the nut from the bolt and tapped the cams with a screwdriver and hammer to get them to even move a little. Unfortunatly, it was not enough.

What am I doing wrong?

Loosen the NUT, then turn the BOLT. Rotate forward = more toe IN, rotate aft= more toe OUT.

I initially did exactly what you indicated but the bolt just rotates without any cam movement. Sadly that is why I went to a screwdriver and hammer but I know that is not correct and it did not do much anyway.

Those are two completely seperate systems. If the bolt turns without turning the cam, you need to replace the bolts, replace the cam washers and nuts at the same time too while you're at it.

While were on topic, how do you adjust the camber? The manual is rather unclear on what to do. I have mine lowered and now the camber is way off. Do i have to by a adjustable camber bar? Thanks
