Question about injector sizes in FAQ sticky. Admin?

https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...55&postcount=5 The injector part number of the S4 TII and the S5 TII are identical. 195500-1370?
So which is correct? I know it's a typo but I need to know the correct part number.

BTW, Has anyone also noticed that when the RX Tuner banner is on you can't access the advanced search unless you refresh the screen or is it just me?

and if your going to use stock plugs the stealership should know the correct size

What size injectors does my RX-7 use? What colour are they?
Year Engine Plug Size Colour Part #
84-85 13B NA, low square center, 680cc, orange, 195500-0900
86-87 13B NA, low square center, 460cc, red, 195500-1350
86-87 13B Turbo, low square center, 550cc, tan, 195500-1370
88 13B NA, high square offset, 460cc, purple, 195500-1350
88 13B Turbo, high square offset, 550cc, purple, 195500-1370
89-91 13B NA, high oval center, 460cc, red, 195500-2010
89-91 13B Turbo, high oval center, 550cc, purple, 195500-2020
S4 and S5 turbo injectors have different P/N... not sure what you mean

S4 Turbo=195500-1370
S5 Turbo=195500-2020

My bad, I meant between 86-87 and the 88. Same PN, different colors? Does the low/hi indicate the connector position or impedance?

What is all the confusion also by injector remanufacturers insisting that 85 gsl SE's came w/ 720's? Did they ever have 720's?

Same part number...color is different.
The plugs are not identical either - the "key" is offset versus centered.

GSL-SEs all had 680CC low impedance injectors.

You specifiy Peak and Hold or Saturation when ordering, that will determine impedence and connector key position.

All 84-85 GSL-SE 13B engines came with 680cc saturation style injectors, so not sure what injector manufactures are suggesting 720s.

Does the High/Low in these indicate impedance then?

And while inquiring about these, I got a response from Fuelinjectorsdirect.com and another one also that their specs show the GSL SE's were 720's or even 750's but I figured they weren't RX people so I figured I'd double check w/ people who know for sure.

Ask them at what pressures are they are getting those flow rates from?
I'd bet it's higher than the Mazda spec.

BTW, those 720's are from Japan-only 12AT motors.
The 1984 - 1985 GSL-SE's are more well-known to come with 680's.

I've noticed this too. If you use FIrefox, there is a nifty little extension you can get for it called Adblock. You can use Adblock to kill the rxtuner advertisment.

Look No Ad!

Thanks everyone, That clears up a lot of the confusion. Got back in touch w/ fuelinjectorsdirect.com and their rep sez they can modify a 720/750 to put out 680cc's for another 10 bucks apiece. That makes it $149 for a pair shipped. I had to decline not because of price but because I dont know how well this mod will affect the accuracy of the injector.

The 550's though were going for $129 shipped for the remans. Is that a good price?
