Question about FD alternator install

For all of you out there that have done this I need your help. On the FD alternator there is a L bracket on the B post that is held onto the alternator at two points. I know that in order to clear the intercooler you need to remove the B post from the FC and put it on the FD alternator. My question is, does it matter what B post place you connect it to? Either the upper or lower part? Thank you, hopefully you all understand.

It should be the one with the nut on it not the screw.

Yes. And actually, it doesn't matter which post you use. The car started fine and charges fine, higher than ever. Thanx for all the help.
