ok i have a question for all you 86-88 na guys!
how long can you drive your car hard before your clutch starts slipping?
i was cruising tonight for about two hours(not racing) and right after i beat the **** out of an probe gt(first race of the night)this guy in a bmw 325i revs at me at a red.when i drop the clutch at around 4k it just doesnt grab! revs up and i let off WHAT THE HELL!!??
my clutch is new about 1k on it already is the stock clutch not able to handle the power of my car?
mods,
ported uim,lim
tb mod
k&n intake
2 3/4 inch piping from cat to 2 1/2 in to straight through muffler
can something in the tranny be broke? you guys gotta help me!
i didnt do the auto to 5-sp swap for a slipping clutch

listen i need possible explanations!not did you put it in gear! im not a dumbass.
noob. i heard there is a fork or something in the tranny that pushes the throwout bearing out can that bend? also if i put in a street strip clutch how much better in quality would i notice, say the centerforce clutch as well anyone have any good experience with it. im hoping its just the clutch and im hoping the problem will go away if i install a new better one.

is your hydraulic clutch system working properly? I know I had a bad slave cylinder for awhile and that didn't help at all. But yeah there is a fork that the slave pushes against to activate the clutch and yes it is possible to be bent out of shape. But does it only do it while you drive the car hard?

both slave and master cylinders are rebuilt.
stainless steel braided clutch hose.
clutch was never broke in i didnt know i had too at that time.
and the flywheel was never resurfaced.
sigh...think those two things screwed me over?
