ok I took off my vac hose from the waste gate and still only boosting 10psi max and as the RPM get higher the boost drops to 8-9psi, without the wastegate opening there should be more than 10 psi ??
what do u guys think
I am thinking wastegate is not closing properly, or the turbo is giving up
any other suggestions

cant be I just put a new exhaust on it like 2 weeks ago
SS 3' all the way back to the y-pipe and 2.5' y-pipe
brand new highflow cat and mafnaflow mufflers all stainless

 

anyone got a suggestion?

 

Something is wrong. My S5 will boost right past 1 bar to unsafe levels. Check under the hood for vacum leaks. How old is your Turbo?
