Huh?
I think I made out the, "put key turn it flip a switch and hit button same time while giving a little gas"
My thoughts, that's just too much work to get a car started, I would rather just turn the key and be done.

exactly, there's been alot of people doing the push button start. I don't really see why, its just one more thing to go wrong. but hey its your car, you do what you want.

lol... on my old subie I used a transmitter that was attached to my key chain... when I got close to my car it kicked over a relay which completely bypassed the ignition and used a button on the dash next to the steering column to start it and a button to turn it off... if the transmitter isn't within a few feet of the car it won't start... no hassle just kept the transmitter in my pocket.. sat down... pushed a button and drove. I'm thinking of doing something similar, but also have it unlock my car when I get near it... and some kind of timer for when the transmitter isn't close to the car to auto lock it... I dunno about that part yet though.

Wouldn't it be easier to install a cheap remote start unit (FCs have a neutral safety switch so you won't kill anyone) and hack a remote apart to make your in-car push button?
Just a thought...

All you need really is a remote starter kit. I am going to use one that allows scheduling starts. So it has warm up time for my girl when she has school. Keeps her from having to go out and start it in morning before her shower and stuff.
