It is unfortunate that your experience was unpleasant, and it is commendable that you are trying to help the OP.
Unfortunately your experience was the result of something you (or your friends) did wrong, and not the banjo bolt, (a theory supported by the fact you needed 6 of them to remove the uim). I have been running a banjo bolt since 05' and can attest to the fact it has caused no ill affects. Remember how "7 of 10 people" have had ther banjo bolt fail? Glad you had time to write a highly opinionated essay, but no time to find any evidence to support your erroneous point of view.
Furthermore, it had become obvious that you don't even know what the function of a pulsation dampener is. If you did, you would know that it is there to protect the injectors and the type of pressure waves it is designed to absorb would have a negligible effect (if any) on fuel hose especially new hose.
