I was just driving my car home on the freeway and smelled gas whenever i would hit the brakes from cruising speed (seemed like it was coming through the heater vents) And i notice the smell of gas when i get in my car after its been sitting for a while. Could this be the act of the P.D? The motor in the car is an s4 J-SPEC turbo with about 45k miles on it

 

Car have cats? Either way could be pd, locate pd and feel around for leaks. Also consider fuel lines, etc. May also wanna buy fire extinguisher.

 

why do you think that the PD wouldn't leak... the engine is way more than 10 years old
