whats the quickest and easiest way to pull off the lower intake manifold without pulling the block? thanks

 

there is no easy and fast way to get it out with block inside....

 

you need to pull the turbo off... and of course everything around it..

 

*kicks himself reapetivaly in the *** for using old gaskets.... *

 

can god not have pity on my soul!!!!!!!!

 

its not that bad, you can do it in an hour, even working slow.

 

yeah..and smoke some weed and you wont even feel any back pains..

Manifold gaskets add up to what? Like $20. Let this be a lesson....

 

ya and rtv sealeant was only 5 dallors lol yes this is a lesson well learned

 

I had the LIM off my NA daily driver with no new gasket on hand. I had to use red RTV to get back on the road. I applied it like the directions said - an even coat on both surfaces and let it set before assembly - then use light torque. It has held for 8 months, but next time it WILL get a new gasket. (One time I'm glad it's not a turbo).
