Pro's And Con's Of NO CATS
I live in a town with No Emmisions testing, so the logical thing to do for me would be to tear those cats right off my car! But b4 I do I'd just like to know the down sides of taking your cats off.

Well, the only negative side effect I can see is your 6 ports not functioning, but I believe you can rig that up even with just a mid-pipe, but I'm not positive, was never big on NA exhaust, all I know is without cats, there's a lot of more flow!
To overcome the problem of the 6 ports no functioning have a custom fabricated midpipe in sizes no larger then 2.5 inch. Anything larger won't allow the airpump to gain egnough pressure..
Go checkout the Bonez Racepipe form Rx7.com.. I have it and my 6 ports still work.

Without the cats, the exhaust stink is overpowering. Intake, header, and no cats on my '91 NA. Sounds great, runs great, but you don't want to stand anywhere close to it for very long.

Wellllll, the cons are ............working about five miles from the center of Ft Worth, Texas, and looking towards the buildings in the center of town, and not being able to see them. Not a hint of the outline of the buildings, where as on a normal day you can see the windows in the buildings.
Or flying into Phoenix NM and seeing the smog trapped by the surrounding hillsides. Brown airborne sludge.
But if your just talking about the car....no downside.

yeah, ive seen nothing bad come of my FC asa result of removing the cats. it makes more power and the engine is more resposive. i dont plan on ever putting them back on.
Hrm, the gas milage might be a bit better, its more free flowing so it takes less power to push the air through the exhaust. The cat on my car looks almost brand new, but I think Im gonna break it anyways
