Proper way to Wire S6 alt into a S4 car?

i have searched and come up with the pic with the S4, S5, and the S6, alt but im still confused. Is the S6 alt load sensing? if so how can i wire it so that it doesnt start drawing power when the car is off? any help would be appreciated.

It's been covered adequately before.

The +12VDC needs to be constant.
If it is switched off, this collapses the field and the alternator tries to jack it back up.
But how can it do it when it's not spinning?
What happens is that it starts to draw current through it's main power lead.
This will drain the battery slowly.

ok so how do i show it 12VDC constantly? tap it into the B+ cable?



EDIT: After looking at the Diagram i should just run the S terminal on the Alt to the B+ terminal and just forget about the Black/White wire that is part of the S4 harness?

I think this may help, I cannot take credit on it, I pulled off this forum a while back but havent gotten to installing my FD alt yet. I believe that is what this diagram shows to do (to ignore the ign wire). I think you may have the same diagram haha.

when i did mine the wiring was the easiest part. my main deal was boring out the dual pulley and grinding down the alt adjustment mount to fit the larger casing in
