Proper way to drive a rotary
What would you guys consider to be the right way to drive a rotary. Like when is the right time to shift under normal acceleration? Is it better to gear down when you slow down? Is it better to keep the rpms up high like 3k when you're cruising at 60 (35mph)?

Drive it like you stole it.
Drive it like a rental.
Beat it like a rented mule.
Drive it to the poorhouse.
Seriously, drive it anyway you want. Lower rpm on the highway for quiet and gas mileage.
Shift it where it makes you happy. I usually don't shift until my grin hits both ears. It depends on the day.

The biggest thing is just not to granny drive the thing ALL the time. Don't drive for 6 months without ever taking it over 3 grand. I generally rev it out to the redline in 3rd once a day when I have a stretch of open road. That will help reduce carbon build-u, which is the only real reason for redlining (aside from making grins on my woman's face - haha)
