Project 13B-RE updated Dec 4th ceramic coating uim, lim and front cover pics

Well got the upper, lower inake manifolds and front cover back from the ceramic coaters here is a few shots and a few test fitting pics.

Cant wait to we start porting up this motor and get it in the car.

Looking good, but a question. In the pictures it appears that you taped off and didn't coat the hose end of the water pump housing.

Any reason why? I would think that coating that area would help prevent the housing from rotting out under the hose (something that I have seen more than once).

no. this shop is in Alrington Tx. around 150 for uim lim and front cover

We did the masking and prep work. and took it too Custom Powder Coating http://www.custompowdercoating.com

the color is called dorment blue. it looks kind purplish in person but when you hold something purple next to it you can see it really dark blue.


porting is going to be half bridge port
