Problems removing A/C..
I uninstalled my PS today, and while uninstalling my A/C compressor, I managed to strip the bottom bolt and cant figure out how to get it out.. Any suggestions? Also, I plan on ripping out my smog pump when I install my turboback, its not as much as a hassle as uninstalling thse components, is it?

Can you get a pair of vice grips on the bolt?
Craftsman has a tool for this, but I don't know if you can get it in the tight space down there. It looks like a socket except it's designed to cut into the stripped head and turn it that way. I think they're called bolt/stud removers or something like that. I tried to use them when I snapped a stud on my LIM, but I ended up cutting it off with a dremel because I couldn't get the tool to bite properly on the stud with the LIM in the way. If all else fails, I'd say get the dremel and cut it off you can always replace the bolt if you ever want to use or sell the A/C system later.

yeah those things from craftsman worked for me, I stripped a tranny bolt when takin out my engine and i went to sears bought em and the bolt came right out. Also I did have plenty of space to use it, but anyways its worth a shot.

I'd like to take a punch at the guy who invented 12 point sockets.
I use the 6 point deep well sockets almost all the time now (even on exhaust bolts).

They were invented so that the socket could be attached in more positions, so that in very tight spaces where you dont have alot of movement for the ratchet handle, you can still get the socket on. I try and use a box end or 6 point whenever possable also, rounding off bolts sucks....
