Question Problems with my 87????

im having a problem with my 87 rx-7 Gxl, i just got it back from mzm and it seemed to be running fine but when i drift a turn all the sudden it just loses power then gains it again???? i think it fuel related or mabe vac line but it has so far only done it taking hard turns
(rpm's just drop then rise again) anyone know whats goin on????

It might be your TPS.....Not sure tho...Could a number of different things. Start with the easy....TPS adjustment...

If you're losing power during hard cornering it's probably fuel moving away from the pick-up in the tank and momentarily starving the engine. Keep more fuel in the tank if you're going to do that sort of driving.

no im not running a card and it put a full tank in it and it still did it but not as much. is there anything i can upgrade so it wont do this anymore???also the gas was sitting in the take for a long while like longer than a year but the fuel was drained and the fuel system was cleaned has a new fuel filter

Did you replace the in tank fuel pump filter, or did you just replace the in-line underhood fuel filter (like most people do).

Again it won't matter how much gas you have in the tank if it is the in tank filter.

yea i replaced the in line filter not the in tank filter
