Where does this connector go?

Car is an 89 Vert. Under the intake manifold right on top of the engine there is a small black connector. It's round and has two wires going to it. Can someone tell me what this goes to?

Thanks,
Mike

I think hes talking about the temp sensor harness for the secondary fan. Do you have a little red light on the temp gauge? If not.. dont worry about it.

I don't.

I think he is talking about the Water Temp Thermo Sensor Plug. If that is what you are talking about, it plugs into the back of the water pump right next to the other connector there.

I made a mistake. The connector only has one wire going to it.

It looks like it should plug in somewhere around the water neck. But there is nowhere to connect it.

It's coming from the same section of harness that has the connectors for the 2 lower injectors and the water temp guage on the back of the thermostat housing.

It's just a little biger around than a dime .

I just put a good motor in this car and it's the only thing that I can't find a home for.

Thanks for the replys

Mike
