That my friend is your Throttle Position Sensor. AKA the TPS. You will be needing it, as your car is now acting like *** because it isnt even on the car....btw, where did you find that and was it even hooked to anything?

well just to let you know, it goes on teh uim, there should be a place for it that has a bunch of linkage that looks like it needs a brother to hit up, should go to teh lower left of all the linkage on the front of teh uim, that is if you are facing it from teh front of the car.

If you search youll find a million threads on what that lil ****** can cause to go wrong.

Edit: Btw if that thing was just laying on the engine, then id be looking for a pair of screws and some sabotage....just my $.02

You could unplug the tps and it would still crank and run --Talk about major backfires though

yep, i accidentally left it under his hood while testing his TPS. i'm fairly sure it has developed another issue since i checked out the TPS though from the sound of it.
