NM pressure leak? please help

so i got done installing my new bov, and fmic, took the car out for a test ride and notice i wasnt making as much boost as i used to.
now i have a stock turbo with no boost controller, stock computer, pretty much everything stock, is it possible the turbo just cant push as much air as the fmic needs?
or have i done something completely wrong?
anything will help. thanks

An intercooler will drop a PSI or so. How much difference are we talking and what is your setup?

A FMIC is a lot more volume to fill up, and the stock turbo is small. Quick stabs to the throttle may not produce as much boost as quickly, especially if the FMIC is huge.

Try a longish 3rd gear pull so you are in boost for several seconds.

the intercooler is much bigger.
the piping is 2.5" and the intercooler is 27x7x3
the car just doesnt pull like it used to.
still making boost, but not nearly as much as before.
the stock boost gauge used to go up about halfway each pull, now it barely hits above zero.

^^^^Yeah you definately have a leak then. Re tighten the **** out of all t-bolt clamps. Put a straight pipe in where your new bov is to rule that out too. It is probably something simple.
