Ok while I was changing my oil I thought to myself. Since I'm premixing now I could use sythetic oil for my regular oil change and all the good or bad things that people say about synthetics would not apply now because no synthetic oil would be entering the combustion chamber therfore no "harm" could be caused because of going to synthetics now. Would there be any plus to switching to synthetics? THanks.

^ why only use royal purple? Mobil is fine. if you are going to run royal purple then you should just leave the OMP on because it burns clean.

I run 2 stroke. and full synthetic. Just normal brand oil is fine. I usually run about 1/2 ounce to a gallon. I know people will argue with me but i do and no troubles

As I've found on my car...But how's your blowby into the oil system? At that ratio my oil pan would add about a quart every 2000 miles...

Sorry Honda Dude, we've hijacked it

no ****!? I havent thought about that much, I checked the oil a couple days ago and with 3800 miles it was as clean as when I put it in and did not smell like gas. so your dipstick would read higher than full after a while at that ratio? and what kind of premix do you use, I have been experimenting with different brands every 2 fill ups to see if there is much difference. all tcw3

honda dude, ya now its like a normal engine. spend as much money as you want on synthetic oils

its good for the motors bearings and good for the turbos bearings, use synthetic now if you wanna reduce wear.

so after you block off the omp, none of the engine oil will enter the combustion chamber? does that mean you can go longer without oil changes?
btw, what does tcw3 stand for?
