Yah, if it's not moving at all, it's probably a switch. I think I need to pull out my passenger switch as well

Make sure you don't have the window lock turned on on the driver's side switch... that happened to me...

driver's switch probably needs the contacts cleaned on the lock out switch.

Not the passengers switch.

hmm... so what exactly is it? Passenger side or drivers side? Just to clear a few things up:

1) The Window dosnt move AT ALL
2) The drivers side lock is OFF... of course lol
3) The drivers side goes down fine (although... like most RX7's is slow... im gonna do that direct battery conection thing to it)

Thanks alot

Well, you won't know until you pull apart a door panel and check a switch, to know for sure what side it is...

But its been my experience that 90% of the time it is a bad drivers switch, when the passengers window is not working.

This is the wiring layout:

So you can see, that both the power and ground of the passengers switch runs through the drivers switch.

Do u hear any noises? If u don't its most likely ur window motor/regulator. Both of my windows motor/regulator died on me and that was the sytomns(sp?).

OK, I had this problem and learned the hard way. My pass side did'nt work. bought 2 new motors that did'nt work. I jumped the motors off of the battery and the all worked. My problem was bad switches and harness in the doors. The door harnesses come out very easily and unplug by the drivers side kick panel. I went direct with a 30amp fuse and I ran one hot wire to both doors. Your ground will be bolted to the door. Took a trip down to radio shack and bought 2 two way rocker toggles (12v)and I dremeled out the stock switch plates and the toggles fit perfect. The windows work much faster and no more bad wiring.

I suggest graphite lube for lubricating the rails and such.

the "clicking" and stuff keeping it from going up all the way is the "beads" that are wearing out and can't be moved. prolly need a new regulator.

all this is after making sure the switches are good and/or clean

i have the same problem. so you are saying that once the driver's side switch for the passenger window goes, the passenger switch wont work as well since all the power is routed THROUGH the driver's side? ok...i think that's what you mean. i'll have to pull the switch and check. thanks.
