FC Shootout Article?

Anybody know of any magazine or online articles that has the FC in a shootout with other sports cars of that era? Wanna just get as close of a feel towards what the pros/critics think of this car relative to some high priced cars.

The IROC replaced the the Z28 for a couple of years when they dropped the Camero from that racing class (and dodge raced their sporty car)

IROC Camaro popped up in 1985 first - carbed only?
Last ones were made in 1990.
You could only get the 350, 5.7 liter with auto trans only, from the factory; Chevy had their heads up their asses when they couldn't build a manual trans to handle the torque of the 350.
5-speed manual trans only with 305, 5.0 liter engine.
There are a lot of guys who swap out the 5.7 liter badge on the rear bumper - if they have a stock manual trans, they are full of ****.
Yes, there was an IROC convertible, but it was a piece of ****; the chassis was weak as it was, and chopping the top off made it a floppy whale.  Chevy had no clue on chassis stiffening back then.
I could go on, but I digress...

Correct. They went FI in 1986.

The only real diference between the 305 and the 350 is the stroke

Okay, I always get that mixed up with the funky 1985 Z-28 with the crossfire intake.
