Question Power windows

Recently i swapped the power windows from my old door which was damaged at the time i bought the car into a new door. The problem im having is that the motor will continously run the lift arm down, even if the window is down and will hop over the ball chain. Ive plugged a switch in and held the drivers side window in the up position and still no change. I have no idea what the heck is wrong so im calling upon the electronic guru's and power window wizards . Thanks in advance

its rolling up the window with the switch plugged in???

if so then you have the motor hooked up to the wrong plug (probably the door light plug).

Take your door panels off and check for a loose connection. My dad's car does that too and I think it is just a loose connection. And I have also fixed a couple cars with this same problem. There is a plug for a bunch of wires, like a male and female plug type if you know what I mean. They plug into one another, it comes loose quite easily on most cars....could be your problem. If not then I have no idea.
