Power window regulators

Are the power window regulators (motor and regulator) the same in a coupe and convertible?

Thanks

No the window regulator/motor for the coupe and convertible are different. The coupe has a gear driven design and the convertible is cable driven.

The regulators for a vert are freakishly expensive. You didn't specify what car you have.

A USED regulator for a vert is usually $200. New...well, we won't get into that.

My driver side window frayed and busted. Thankfully it didn't shatter the window as it came crashing down.

Ain't that the truth! From Mazda the vert regulators are super expensive. Good thing I work for a Mazda dealer and was able to get a decent price.
