OK that same problem happened in my FD. Try and jiggle the wires and connector that go through your door through the door jam into the cabin. Jiggle at the door damn and try to roll your windows up at the same time. That was my problem. I seperated the male and female connectors at the door jam and used a paper clip then a tiny knife to get all the corrosion off, I guess water was getting in there. When your done make sure your connectrs actually snap together. mine couldn't because the little plastic that sticks up to connect them together was saggy and couldn't do it. So I did my lighter trick and warmed the little plastic piece up and bent it up and dried it. Stayed up and now the connecters snap together.
This problem took me forever, I was taking panels and ripping window motors out and buying new switches.

Yeah, first the T2 came out in early 86 as a 87 model.
The 12v+ power into the passengers switch is bad, either internally (bad contact inside) or externally (bad plug or connection), or the power window lock switch on the drivers door is off or bad (clean the switch contacts inside the switch).

Sounds like a wire somewhere between the switch and the motor. The vast majority of the time, it's a connection on an end. My 1988 'vert's passenger window can't go down with the driver's switch too.
I worry about it come Spring, maybe.
