Power steering wirning

I'm about ready to re-install my power steering but I can't find the harness side connector. The PO must have cut the connector off of the wiring harness.
My question: Will the power steering still work properly without plugging the electrical connection in?

thanks.........ash

No, it won't work without being plugged in. Generally, S4s had RPM-sensitive power steering, and S5s had speed-sensitive. There are some exceptions. I don't which car in your sig. applies to your situation, but on an S4 there is a P/S computer under the driver-side dash. It's probably in the same location for an S5, but I don't know off the top of my head. Check the wiring diagrams for P/S info: http://foxed.ca/foxed/index.php?page...nual#secondgen
