remove the power steering pump.
replace power steering rack with manual rack
swap CPU with GX model,

the only times steering is difficult is dry steering (while stopped) while moving there will be no driving with the finger tips. usually i'm driving with one hand firmly gripped

I'm using maual rack right now on the track car, I might put my properly depowered rack back in later this season.

swap CPU????? Why????

And there are topics on this all over the 2nd gen forum. There is a link to a writeup. You will need to swap a manual rack or de-power your rack.
