Exclamation Yea, it runs S5T2

I installed a Rtec 1.8 a few days ago and at the same time I swapped out the injectors. I have not been able to start the motor since then. I know the timing is close enough to start it, I can't find any vacuum hoses disconnected, I know its getting fuel because I can hear the pump running, I have spark to the plugs, it will run a little while on starter fluid and if I crank it long enough it will sputter like its going to start but if I touch the gas pedal it will immediately die.
It ran before I swapped out the parts.

It runs. After countless hours I finally got it to run. There was several things preventing it from starting. 1) Vacuum leak on the firewall side of the IUM. 2) One of the primary injector clips was cracked and was making intermittant contact with the injector and 3) the timing was off (although it should have been close enough to get it to run). I kept putting off pulling the UIM but once I did the problems became apparent.
I also had low oil pressure and after changing the front gasket the oil pressure is 70 psi at 3000 rpm. I had guys offer advice on that also.

I'd like to thanks everybody that offered advice.

did you take the proper precautions when servicing the front cover to keep the needle bearings from dropping?

I hope so. I depressed the clutch pedal and then used a 2x4 (cut to the correct size) to hold the pedal down. I found that the o-ring and Teflon ring were both missing. The cover gasket was probably changed by somebody unfamiliar with the 7. Sure fixed the low oil pressure problem. The pressure went up from 20 psi at 3000 to 70 psi at 3000.

Like what were the engineers thinking when they designed that bearing setup.
