Power steering rack swap?
OK, I searched for nearly an hour and couldn't find a decent answer to this question.
I have an '89 GTU with the 17:1 RPM-sensing P/S. Is the 15:1 P/S rack from an '86-'88 a bolt-in replacement? In looking at pics of the two racks they look like they have the same line connecting points, but it's hard to tell.
I know that the later speed-sensing rack is different and won't swap directly in, but I can't find anything about the earlier 15:1 rack.
Thanks in advance...

It will bolt in place, but to get the power steering working properly, you'll need the 15:1's pump, lines, and computer. And maybe the harness/connector (not sure).
The 15:1 rack IS the velocity sensing rack.
