My '86 has a leak in the Pwr Stg Pmp at the top where the speed sensor??? (silver round attachment with wires). Does anyone know if the pump on my 88 will work?

i recently did a power steering pump swap on my 91, and one thing to watch out for is if you have the auto adjusting suspension...power steering pumps from those have an extra hose for something.

my 91 doesn't have this and i haven't gotten around to plugging it up yet with jb weld.

i don't know if the power steering pumps are different between s4 and s5's though.
