Somehow or someone cut my connector off for my power steering pump. So I never had power steering, but had the pump. Could someone tell me which color wire connects to the other color wire. I thought I could just match them up with the harness wiring but the harness wiring and the pump wiring are two different color of wires. Would be very appreciative if someone could tell me.

hey sorry to jack da thread, but I was about to post one about my powersteering. However my issue concerns a very annoying sort of rattling sound coming from either power steering pump or steering gear housing. It only happens when I turn the wheels, so i think there's more likely something wrong witht the steering gear housing. Also I only have this problem at colder weather. Once the temperature started getting around 45*F and below this noise reappered. The power steering operates smoothly and other than this loud noise there are no other bad symptoms.

 

Assuming your fluid level is OK, then the pump is just wearing out.

I just kept driving my NA until the pump started leaking, then swapped in a used pump.
