See jpg.

IF you can't find it, the just backprobe the wire in the plug that is attached to the control unit. Pin G.

Thats an idea to go to the connector. will try that and report back.

I know that i looked right where it shows it and all the wires i saw were connected to something.

Ok, last update here. I finally got the power steering working!

I first figured out why i could not find that diganostics connector, it is only on convertables. there was no wire coming fromt he pin. But while looking at the pins i found that a few of them were lose. So i shoved them back in and pluged it back intot he ECU and it worked better. It would work at the same places all the time now. But it would still cut in and out.

So i then decided go ahead and swap the racks just becaue i have it in the parts car and my rack was a little lose anyways.

So i put it all backtogeher and what do you know! It works! I didn't get it past 45mph to see if it cuts off but at least it works now.

So it appears that my problem was a combo of eletrical and mechanical.

Hi
a warning buzzer in constantly on and a Mazda mechanic said that it was connected to the power steering circuit.
...I had thought that it was a warning buzzer for the coolant from what I had read, but he said no.
Can anyone confirm what he said to be the case?
And if so, possibly the fix.
...I have to wear ear plugs to drive

Night of the Living Thread!

Power steering warning is a repetitive BEEP BEEP BEEP....BEEP BEEP BEEP or some combination of different beeps. Not a buzzer. Buzzing means coolant.
