"so you run the 2 lines that goto the pump itself together and just yank the rest out..and thats it? what do you connect those 2 lines together with?"

No you take those two lines out and then youll get to the knuckle and you take out the lines around that then you go and get screw caps for all the holes you have its only 4 caps....

plain and simple take all the god damn hoses out and see what your left with, then go to homedepot or lowes and get some screw caps so **** doesnt get inside the rack and its is a good idea to try and put some power steering fluid in the rack before you cap it off....sound better?

I have a way of using all the old bolts and fittings, almost looks factory.

Jack, buddy... what about tonight? I will help you rip that out.

theres been times when i autocrossed and outran the PS pump, which basicly means you go with out PS for a moment. If you only drag and drive around town, i guess you would be ok. But would like to see if you could do a slalom with out the PS.

check out the pics on the website in my sig to see what i mean.

the only way it wouldn't work in the salomon would be if you were going 5mph! then you got a bigger problem then not having PS

i would check dealer/port installed A/C systems which are on sale at mazdaformance.com, they should have brackets for A/C only....we are going to be buying some of those kits hopefully and we will not need those brackets probably since we will be installing those compressors on stock large brackets....

Same set up I have, and I just started looking into removing my setup myself.. Looks like we will have to do it the way Felix done it.
