Power Steering fluid for my 1990 FC? Any?
Read whats on the hood, or in the manual, or the fsm. More than likely it is dexrom 2 aut trans fluid though. Lucas has a stop leak for it if you want to try that, it actually worked pretty damn well for me.
Yep all true, and that Lucas is some GOOD stuff...it worked so well in my Delivery truck to stop a leak I have used it in both of my 88 S/4 NA's as a PREVENTATIVE before a leak develops. So far, so good, no leaks.

You guys use ATF for power steering fluid? I have honestly not heard of that.... But, I've never had to mess with my power steering. Last time I saw steering fluid, I was pulling my power steering rack out.
Yeah. true.. but auto trans has a lot of friction surfaces. I would imagine there are a lot of detergents in ATF that allow this viscosity to occur.. Where as in a power steering unit, you would need a more pure hydraulic fluid.
meh it has worked in all of the cars i have put it in.. everything from my rx7, 75 chevy truck, my toyota truck, 84 ford diesel, 72 scout II, and various other cars...its just hella cheaper than real "power steering" fluid...
